Daniela Nasteva

Daniela Nasteva is a Bulgarian concert pianist and composer who is building a distinctive voice in contemporary original piano music. She graduated from the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music and Dance Arts in Plovdiv, and went on to complete bachelor's and master's degrees in piano in the class of Prof. Milena Mollova. Daniela combines a solid classical foundation with an intimate, vivid and emotionally powerful musical language. She won the National Competition for French Music and received the special award for best Bach performance at the Pancho Vladigerov National Competition. Her stage is not only Bulgarian: solo recitals, concerts with Bulgarian philharmonic orchestras and performances in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, China, South Korea, Morocco, Norway and Finland have given her experience and confidence in front of the most diverse audiences.

As a composer, Daniela writes, performs and produces her own music. Her debut album “Connection” (2021), featuring seven original pieces, was presented in concert at the Dimitar Georgiev Museum Gallery in Plovdiv as part of the city's Cultural Calendar. It was followed by the pieces “Introspection I”, “Introspection II”, “Stormy”, “Nocturne” and “Abandoned Heart”. Her music video “Stormy”, made with the support of the National Culture Fund under its Debuts programme, shows her natural connection between music and visual storytelling. This ability to build atmosphere, read an audience and turn every performance into an experience makes her a sought-after performer for events, celebrations, exhibitions and premieres, wherever music needs to move people, not just be heard.
